Everybody owns a carbon footprint that impacts on the future of our planet.
Near Future Garden is creating the largest online collection of footprint images inspired by nature to highlight the importance of reducing our collective footprints.
This is a simple but effective pictorial legacy of the precious balance of nature and how we must protect this now and in the future.
Follow these two simple steps to take part
Step 1 – Explore the beauty of the natural environment to create your own footprint image
Join us online #nearfuturegarden:
Add your photo to Instagram and tag with #nearfuturegarden.
Take inspiration from nature and the powerful elements of the sun, wind and water to create stunning footprint images.
Sink your feet into lush green grass glistening in the wet morning dew, wriggle your toes into bare soil in your garden, take a walk along a sandy beach baked by the sun – or seek out other natural landscapes that inspire you to capture the “footprints of nature.”
Just a few suggestions
- Your photo can be a recent image taken in a natural environment. No stock photos allowed
- Single foot-prints and multiple foot-prints are fine but no animals – human feet only please!
- Upload your photo to instagram or tweet them if you prefer
- Post as many images as you like across all NFG social media.
- Tell us where you took your photo and how nature inspired your foot-print image
Step 2 – Use the energy of the sun, wind and water to power your home.
100% renewable electricity and green gas
